Our Minis Acro class is a co-ed group designed for young acrobats who are beginning to build independence, confidence, coordination, and foundational movement skills in a structured class environment.
Students in this class work on developing their listening skills, ability to follow directions, body awareness, balance, coordination, basic acro positions, and across-the-floor movement while learning how to participate independently in class.
To be considered for the Minis Level, an acrobat should be able to demonstrate, or be close to demonstrating, the following:
- Independence in class
- Listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Cartwheel preparation
- Basic acro positions
- Tabletop position
- Front roll
- Across-the-floor movements
Placement is based on readiness, coordination, participation, listening skills, confidence, and ability to follow instruction.
This class is ideal for young acrobats who are ready to learn independently, become comfortable in a structured class setting, and build the foundational skills needed to progress into higher-level acro classes.
